“Build better by design”
Our opportunity to dedicate resources to developing more efficient ways to build has been afforded to us by the relationship we have enjoyed with our Clients on the more ‘traditional’ level of structural design consultancy services.
We have completed a large volume of structural design work for Totalspan in New Zealand, both their more ‘run of the mill’ or ‘bread and butter’ work and also their more bespoke ‘one-off’ work. The relationship between Transparency and Totalspan began in 2007 when Andrew was then working for what is now Calibre Consulting up in Kerikeri and was first introduced to the Totalspan family.
Since Transparency’s inception in 2017, we have completed the structural design of two Burger King restaurants. BK Silverdale and BK Rangiora. The relationship between Transparency and Burger King began in 2012 when Andrew was then working for Spanbild in Christchurch and Burger King approached Spanbild to develop a new generation approach to their restaurant designs. While at Spanbild the then design team completed the structural design of BK Linwood and BK Curletts here in Christchurch under Andrew’s sign off.
Transparency was approached by Christchurch Property Projects near the end of 2017 to provide design assistance with the BK Rangiora Development which also included the design of a three-level mixed retail and apartment building on the main street in Rangiora and the structural strengthening of an existing building next door to the development site.
A relationship developed between Rollforming Services and Transparency throughout 2017 where Rollforming Services have approached Transparency to provide capacity tables for some of the cold-formed steel sections which they presently roll form up in Auckland.
